I've lived in Oregon for all of my life and have been fishing since I was a child. I have always loved and respected the outdoors. With this passion, I have grown and learned how to find and catch fish. I specialize in Chinook, Coho, and Sturgeon fishing. Most of my time is focused on the Columbia River, Willamette River, and in the Pacific Ocean off of the NW Oregon Coast. The amount of time and experience on the water that I have accumulated over the years makes me feel confident enough to share it with you and be your fishing guide. A little about the boat and Captain
We will be fishing out of my 23' Alumaweld Columbia open sled boat. All ages and all experience levels are welcome! We can fish up to 6 Passengers. I am a licensed Fishing Guide in Oregon, CPR/First Aid certified, and a Certified Captain through the US Coast Guard with an OUPV six-pack inland/near coastal license. All Safety gear is on board and up to date.
What you need to bring on your fishing trip
I will provide all of the gear, tackle, bait, and safety equipment.
You bring:
- clothing suitable for the time of year and weather. I recommend rain gear and always layering up.
- food or drinks
- lucky underwear
* You will also need a valid One Day Fishing License or an annual Fishing License with a Combination angling Tag. In most cases you will need a Columbia Basin River Endorsement for the waters that I fish.
Gear and service:
We will be fishing with top of the line gear. Lamiglas XCC 1064 rods paired with Shimano Tekota 500/400 Line counter reels. Before each trip, all gear and boat will be cleaned and ready to go. At the end of each day, fish will be filleted and bagged for transport.
